Flavia Thomé works from the IISD Geneva office as the Program Administrator for the Trade and Investment program.
Flavia’s professional background is a blend of profit and non-profit experiences. Prior to joining IISD, Flavia worked for four years as a consultant for Accenture in London and also as a research fellow at the UN-Habitat Regional office for Latin America and the Caribbean. Flavia brings experience in financial and project management, as well as academic and professional expertise in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility.
She has a BSc in Economics and International Development from the University of Bath and an MA in Human Values and Contemporary Global Ethics from King’s College, University of London.
Flavia has a very international background; she was born in Brazil, and has lived in Brazil, United Kingdom, Malaysia, France and now Switzerland.
